Dr. Beatrix Balogh
Obstetrician-gynecologist
Introduction
I passed my specialist examination with an excellent result and had the highest number of surgical procedures among the candidates taking the exam at that time.
I am often asked whether being a woman is a disadvantage in the field of gynecology. While the long surgeries and night shifts can certainly be demanding, in many ways it is actually an advantage. I understand the vulnerability women may feel during examinations, the pain of menstruation, and the uncertainty that arises when two doctors give different opinions.
One of the most important experiences of my life is that I became a mother at the age of 45, after a long and challenging journey. This personal experience has further strengthened my commitment to supporting and understanding women at different stages of their lives.
As a physician, my goal is to help women better understand their bodies, be aware of their possibilities and limitations, protect their health, and make informed decisions—whether they are planning a family or not.
