Laboratory tests

Laboratory diagnostics is one of the fastest-growing branches of the modern medical toolhouse. Nowadays, even a drop of blood can provide a vast amount of high diagnostic value information, which our patients can access in an elegant and serene environment at our clinic.

Laboratory tests packages

Examinations may be requested individually; however, our carefully curated laboratory packages, with the assistance of our experts, provide a simple and reliable solution for targeted detection of potential health issues. Often, complex problems or preparatory tests can be challenging to decipher for untrained eyes. Nevertheless, our professional team is here to guide you through every question and every step along this journey.

General screening packages

General screening packages aim to detect diseases early. These tests give an insight into the state of your body, including the cardiovascular system, digestive system, liver and kidney function, water and electrolyte balance and the condition of the blood components. If you are free of complaints, it is recommended that you have a general laboratory screening once a year so that you can be alert to any changes in your body. Thanks to these screening tests, deficiencies or other problems can often be detected at an early stage.

Internal medicine packages

Internal medicine laboratory tests provide insights into the state of your body, including the cardiovascular system, digestive system, liver and kidney function, water and electrolyte balance, sugar metabolism and blood components. They are also used to control known pathologies, so that the disease can be monitored and, as a result, its condition can be cured or deterioration can be avoided.

Endocrine screening packages

Endocrine blood sampling is an extremely important diagnostic tool in the evaluation of the functioning of the endocrine system. This test allows the assessment of hormonal balance and the detection of hormonal abnormalities and diseases. Based on the results, the doctor can develop an appropriate therapy and treatment plan, helping to improve the patient's health and prevent possible complications. Many symptoms may be caused by a disruption of the hormonal system, such as fatigue, hair loss, a feeling of a pounding heartbeat, or a shift in body weight in any direction. Endocrine lab tests can help to clarify this.

Lifestyle packages

Lifestyle related blood sampling plays a very important role in health maintenance. Information from the blood enables doctors to determine how an individual's lifestyle is affecting their body. Lifestyle blood test results can also be used to make recommendations for lifestyle changes, including eating healthier and exercising regularly. In this way they can help optimise health and help prevent disease. Blood sampling in athletes is crucial for optimal performance and health monitoring, and is therefore key to enhancing performance and preventing injuries.

Hair loss packages

Hair loss can occur for a number of reasons, including genetic predisposition, hormonal changes, nutrient deficiencies and stress. Blood tests are useful to identify and treat possible causes of hair loss. For example, blood tests can measure iron, vitamin and hormone levels, which can provide important information about possible nutrient or hormonal imbalances that may be contributing to hair loss.

Tumor marker packages

Tumor markers are substances or molecules in blood, urine or tissue samples that may indicate the presence or the risk of cancer. Regular tumor marker tests allow early detection of cancerous degenerations before symptoms appear. This provides the opportunity to diagnose tumors at an early stage and treat them more effectively, thus contributing to prevention and a better prognosis. It is important to note, however, that tumour marker tests are only part of the overall diagnostic process and positive results require further investigation and specialist assessment.

Family planning package

Laboratory screening before planning for a family and during pregnancy is especially important for the health of the expectant mother and the baby. Laboratory tests allow the doctor to identify potential health problems or risk factors early in pregnancy thus enabling early treatment, which can contribute to the prevention or the improvement of problems. It can also detect infectious diseases with the aim of treating them, thus achieving the protection of both the fetus and the expectant mother.

Information regarding all day blood collection

At our clinic, laboratory tests are available throughout the day. In order to maintain the most reliable results however, some values are an exception to this (recommended to be taken between 7 and 9 in the morning). Furthermore, there are values that require 8 hours of fasting, but they can be taken at any time of the day.
