Your individual treatment plan will determine exactly how many treatments you will need based on your skin concerns. Treatment sessions are usually 2-4 treatments, with a break of about 1 month between each, but this may vary from one case to the other. 

After facial treatments, you may usually experience some mild swelling, redness and sensitivity, but in most cases these will go away on their own within a short time. After each facial treatment, we will give you precise information about the procedure and what to do afterwards.

Make-up and other cosmetic/skincare products should not be used for 24 hours after facial treatments (unless you receive instructions otherwise), and you should apply high factor sun protection (SPF50) in the following weeks after the treatment. The skin should be protected from direct exposure to intense sunlight, heat and steam for 1 week. Avoid hot baths, saunas and solariums for about 3 weeks. In addition, activities that cause excessive sweating (e.g. physical work, sports) should be avoided in the days after treatment. In all cases, detailed information on aftercare will be provided at the end of the procedures. 

Facial treatments are generally not recommended during pregnancy, breast-feeding, active skin disease, febrile illness and predisposition to keloid formation (depends on the exact treatment). In addition, a specific consultation with a specialist is required in the case of severe diabetes, taking anticoagulants, autoimmune or chronic diseases.
