How does it work?
Throughout the micro-injuries, growth factors and other cell-communicating substances are released, which cause increased cell division. These processes also stimulate receptors in cells that produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which are responsible for the elasticity and firmness of our skin.

The procedure
The treatment itself is a quick, "lunchtime" procedure, after preparation, thorough cleansing, disinfection and local anaesthesia, the treatment itself takes about 20 minutes. After the removal of the numbing cream, the treatment with the microneedling device is performed with minimal discomfort and practically no pain. Depending on the skin problem, the proper needle length is selected on the SkinPen to reach the right layers of the skin for the patient. The micro-channels opened by the device are flooded with valuable active ingredients that nourish and deeply hydrate the skin. Then a special soothing formula is applied to ensure the skin is protected after the procedure.

The SkinPen® Precision treatment is recommended for everyone, regardless of age or skin type.
It is highly recommended:
- uneven, textured skin, post-acne scars,
- wide pores, loose, tired skin,
- fine lines and wrinkles,
- to reduce drooping, to increase skin tightness,
- fade dark spots, hyperpigmentations.
For a lasting and effective result, three treatments are highly recommended, with approximately 3-4 weeks between each treatment. Special attention should be paid to sun protection, but in principle the treatment can be done at any time of the year.
After the treatment, you may experience mild redness and minimal skin sensitivity, which typically disappears within a few hours after the treatment. Make-up wear is not allowed for 24 hours after the procedure. Special attention has to be paid to proper sun protection of the treated area, also the skin should be protected from direct sunlight, heat, steam and hot baths for 1 week after the treatment.
The treatment should not be done in case of pregnancy, breast-feeding, febrile illness, active skin disease or tendency to keloid formation, or in case of sensitivity to any of the ingredients of the active substances used, or allergies.
