Dr. Mária Gergely
Radiologist, breast and thyroid ultrasound specialist

Introduction
I earned my medical degree in 1973 from the University of Debrecen, beginning my career in the Radiology Department at the Debrecen County Hospital. I completed my radiology specialization in 1978.
Since 1980, I have lived and worked in Budapest. I initially joined the founding team at Jahn Ferenc Hospital and was later invited to the Róbert Hospital as chief physician. I reached the peak of my professional career at Uzsoki Hospital, where I initially served as senior radiologist, later as head of the department.
Since 2009, I have been working in private practice, offering my extensive expertise across all areas of classical radiology. I have dedicated my entire career to radiology, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development, guided by exceptional mentors.
In my work, the patient always comes first; my goal is to support healing through thorough and accurate diagnosis. I am calm, patient, and approachable, and I strive to build trust with my patients. I ensure that they are fully informed and always discuss any issues that arise during examinations.
