Andrea Petra Trenka
Dietetian
Introduction
Andrea Petra Trenka is a dietitian and human behavior analyst (Psichology BA). She received her diplomas with grades of excellence from Semmelweis University (2022) and Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church (2018). She chose to become a dietitian due to her enthusiasm for the gut microbiome and the gut brain axis: learning how the microorganisms living in our guts influence our everyday lives from mood, through skin to hormones, completely blew her away. Andrea specializes in cutting edge dietary approaches, such as nutrition in anti-aging, gut-hormone interplay and the microbiome in ADHD. Striving for implementing all the most advanced research, she also welcomes patients to help them establish a healthier lifestyle, lose weight or sooth gastrointestinal problems, incorporating her studies from human psychology to enhance results.
She gained practice in clinical (Uzsoki street hospital, OORI, National Koranyi Pulmonology Institute) and elderly care institutes. She was part of research groups at Semmelweis University - Department of Physiology (diet's effect on endocannabinoids and vascular morphology) and at the Institute of Experimental Medicine (utilizations of psychobiotics in neurodegenerative diseases).
"I believe all patients to be completely unique individuals, with problems that all need impeccable recognition. I think the key to the best results is finding the cure that is accustomed to the patient's own preferences, and not the other way around. Maintaining an accepting and empathetic atmosphere, where my patients can fully be part of the process, and experience success on all levels while orchestrating mental, emotional and physical balance is the most important to me in my practice."
