Why do localized fat deposits form?
As a connective tissue, fat plays an important role in our body. Fat is our body's primary energy storage facility and also acts as an insulation against the cold and is responsible for protecting our organs. In terms of body fat, a distinction is drawn between the fat that accumulates under the skin and the visceral fat that surrounds the organs.
The optimum amount of body fat varies between the sexes and between the ages of the individual: women have approximately 22-33%, while men have 12-22%. The percentage increases minimally with age.
There are many reasons for the development of localized subcutaneous fat deposits. In addition to genetic factors, excessive calorie intake, malnutrition, low calorie consumption associated with sedentary work and lifestyle, lack of exercise, stress, diabetes and insulin resistance can all play a role in their appearance.
Subcutaneous fat is mainly concentrated on the abdominal wall among men and on the arms, breasts, buttocks and thighs in women.
Adipose tissue is important and necessary, but excessive accumulation is harmful to the body, increasing the risk of certain diseases.
Eliminating localized fat on the thighs, abdomen, arms and buttocks is not an easy task. Serious exercise and a healthy diet are not always enough to get rid of these deposits.
However, targeted professional treatments and medical body contouring can be the perfect complement to a good lifestyle and it can reduce localized fat deposits in different areas of the body without pain, in a safe and effective way.
What can we do about localized fat deposits?

Radiofrequency assisted liposuction
Radiofrequency Liposuction can reduce the accumulated fat in the problematic areas safely and effectively without scarring. The high heat emitted by the radiofrequency causes the connective tissue to contract, liquefies the adipose tissues in the treated area, increases collagen and elastin production, triggers connective tissue regeneration which leads to tighter and firmer skin. The treatment can also be used on larger areas and can achieve significant changes throughout the body. It can be applied to the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms, knees and even on the double chin area.

Fat reduction
Another highly effective, non-invasive alternative for fat reduction is Coolwaves liposuction. Coolwaves unique technology uses special microwaves that penetrate deep into the skin layers. The microwaves work at a frequency of 2.45 GHz, which is absorbed only in the fat cells, so the treatment does not damage other tissues. Fat cells are broken down by the wave and then naturally released from the body through the metabolic process. It reduces local fat accumulation, eliminates cellulite, reduces sagging and significantly improves body contour.

Cryolipolysis
An excellent method for stubborn fat deposits is cryolipolysis. The special feature of this treatment is that the fat cells will be essentially frozen during the treatment, because fat cells cannot withstand temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius, blood flow is reduced and the cells are destroyed. The effect is selective, so only the fat cells are affected on the targeted area and the surrounding tissues are not damaged at all. The destroyed cells are naturally cleared out through the lymphatic system in 10-12 weeks. The process can be accelerated by lymphatic massage.
Lymphatic drainage
Shockwave therapy is effective in reducing cellulite and accelerates the metabolic system which is even better after the cryolipolysis.
