The delicate skin of the face sags over time, smaller and then deeper wrinkles appear on its surface. At the same time, the process of skin renewal slows down, and the production of substances that give the skin firmness and elasticity gradually decreases. One such substance is hyaluronic acid.

The procedure
The area to be treated is prepared for the treatment, the skin surface is cleaned and disinfected thoroughly. The filler includes lidocain, which makes the treatment more convenient. The treatment takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on the chosen technique and the treatment plan. To finish, a special soothing ointment and sunscreen are applied to the treated area.

Hyaluronic acid is an elastic substance naturally found in the body that can bind large amounts of water. Over time, its natural production decreases significantly, causing the skin to lose its youthfulness, and begin to wrinkle and sag. The high concentration of hyaluronic acid filler injected under the skin provides elastic support to the tissues, enhances the most youthful facial contours and helps correct asymmetries.
The effect of the results achieved depends on the amount of filler used and the individual reaction of the body. In our experience, it is recommended to repeat the treatment every 6-12 months, depending on the individual. In case of deeper wrinkles or extreme volume increase, it is advisable to repeat the treatment in several sessions to achieve the maximum result.
- A few days before the treatment, it is recommended to stop using skin care products containing active ingredients (retinol, exfoliating masks, etc.), which may cause skin irritation at the treatment site.
- In order to prevent bruising at the puncture points, it is advisable to avoid the use of blood thinners (e.g. aspirin) and vitamin C for 1 week before the procedure.
- Alcoholic beverages should be avoided before the treatment.
The results of hyaluronic acid wrinkle fillers are already visible after the treatment, with the final result taking about 2 weeks to develop. Minor bruising at the puncture sites and, in rare cases, temporary asymmetry may occur. Massaging the treated area is unnecessary, the injected hyaluronic acid filler will spread on its own within days, the swelling will recede and any noticeable lumps will be absorbed.
Until the final shape is achieved, avoid strong mechanical and thermal effects, e.g.: hot food and drinks, sunbathing, solarium, sauna, facial treatments, heavy exercises that cause sweating. The use of make-up is not recommended for 24 hours after the treatment.
Hyaluronic acid wrinkle fillers should not be used in case of pregnancy, breast-feeding, febrile illness, any allergy to the filler, active infection of the face or other skin conditions. In case of previous augmentation with silicone oil, we cannot perform the treatment of hyaluronic acid fillers.
