The procedure
The delicate skin around the eyes is cleaned, possible make-up is removed and the area is disinfected. The treatment takes about 20-30 minutes. Afterwards, a special soothing ointment and sunscreen is applied to the treated area.
The results of hyaluronic acid fillers are immediately visible, the injected material spreads on its own in the following days and the final result is achieved within 2 weeks.

Hyaluronic acid is an elastic substance naturally found in the body that can bind large amounts of water. Over time, its natural production decreases significantly, causing the skin to lose its youthfulness, and begin to wrinkle and sag. The high concentration of hyaluronic acid filler injected under the skin provides elastic support to the tissues, highlights the facial contours and helps correct asymmetries around the eyes.
The effect of the results achieved depends on the amount of filler used and the individual reaction of the body. In our experience, it is recommended to repeat the treatment every 6-12 months, depending on the individual.
- A few days before the treatment, it is recommended to stop using skin care products containing active ingredients (retinol, exfoliating masks, etc.), which can cause skin irritation at the area of the treatment.
- In order to prevent bruising at the puncture points, it is recommended to stop using blood thinners (e.g. aspirin) and vitamin C 1 week prior the procedure.
- Alcoholic beverages should be avoided.
The results of filling under-eye circles with HA are already visible after the treatment, with the final result taking about 2 weeks to develop. Minor bruising at the puncture sites and, in rare cases, temporary asymmetry may occur. Massaging the treated area is unnecessary, the injected hyaluronic acid filler will spread on its own within days, the swelling will recede and any noticeable lumps will be absorbed.
Until the final form is achieved, avoid strong mechanical and thermal influences, e.g.: hot food and drinks, sunbathing, solarium, sauna, facial treatments, vigorous exercise. The use of make-up is not recommended for 24 hours after the treatment.
Injections with Hyaluronic acid cannot be performed in case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, feverish illness, any allergy to the filler, active herpes infection affecting the lips or other skin diseases affecting the lips. We are unable to perform hyaluronic acid volume augmentation on previously treated patients with silicone oil.
