PRP treatments

In PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy, the patient's own blood is used to renew and revitalise the skin. The drawn blood is centrifuged to separate the plasma from the red blood cells. During the treatment, the plasma effectively acts as a highly valuable regenerating serum: the platelets in the blood contain all the growth factors in the body that are involved in skin renewal. The platelets also cause other cells to release growth factors, which further enhances skin regeneration. PRP treatments are also known as dracula therapy.

PRP treatments are carried out on the face, neck and décolleté, and the therapy is also effective for treating hair loss. Inactive hair follicles are stimulated to function and multiply. 

The treatment relies on cell renewal substances in the blood. The growth factors in the platelets significantly increase the regenerative capacity of the skin. A serum (an active ingredient extracted from the patient's own blood) injected into the patient's skin will renew the treated area, stimulating the skin's natural regenerative capacity. 

The result of PRP facial treatments become apparent after 2-3 months, it is recommended to repeat the treatment every 6 months to maintain the results. PRP hair treatments take approximately 9 months to achieve full results.

The number of PRP treatments depends on the patient's skin quality and individual condition. However, most often 2-3 treatments are required.

There are two types of PRP treatments: mesotherapy injections or SkinPen, both of which deliver plasma extracted from the blood into the deeper layers of the skin. 

PRP treatments are completely hypoallergenic, no synthetic, foreign or animal substances are contained in the injected serum. Only platelet-rich plasma, extracted from the patient's own blood, is injected into the skin layers, triggering the skin renewal process.

PRP treatments are recommended for anyone, regardless of age, who wants to revitalize the skin or regenerate hair follicles. It is recommended as a preventive treatment to improve the condition of the skin and slow down the aging process, starting at a young age, but it can also bring a more vibrant and healthy look to already sagging, wrinkled, mature skin.

After the treatment, slight bruising may occur at the puncture points, but this will disappear on its own within a short time. Make-up should be avoided for 1 day after the treatment and afterwards you need to use sunscreen/SPF 50 everyday for at least 4 weeks to prevent hyperpigmentation.
