Mole screening supported by artificial intelligence

Naevuses on any part of the body are usually harmless skin growths. However, rapid changes in size and color, pain, itching or bleeding can indicate a malignant lesion, which may be melanoma malignum, meaning pigmented skin cancer. With early detection 90% of these cases can be cured successfully.

Regular screening at least once a year can detect melanoma at the earliest possible stage, allowing us to treat it successfully and prevent the recurrence of the disease.

Fotofinder Bodystudio ATBM is the world's most advanced high-technology mole screening diagnostic system, using artificial intelligence to support the dermatologist's work and provide the earliest possible diagnosis of any skin lesions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Once a year, everyone is encouraged to have a preventive screening.

Full-body screening is highly recommended for people who…

  • have a family history of skin cancer/melanoma,
  • are exposed to prolonged and frequent sun exposure,
  • experienced multiple sunburns during childhood,
  • have a large number of uneven and irregular moles,
  • have a new mole or have noticed changes in their already existing moles,
  • have moles that suddenly change in color, size, or shape, become painful, or start to bleed or discharge.

The duration of the mole screening takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of moles being checked. The body scan (body mapping) takes approximately 10 minutes, followed by the individual mole examination based on the analysis and evaluation of what was seen.

Mole screening does not require any special preparation. It can be easily integrated into everyday activities.

We prepare a personalized treatment plan for the screening. Based on personal risk factors, the control examination is recommended to be repeated every 3, 6 or 12 months, depending on the amount, size and rate of changes of the moles, as well as family and medical history.

In case of a lesion, atypical or malignant mark, our dermatologist will recommend further examination and removal of the mole, for which we offer several options in our clinic.
