The procedure
After the lips are thoroughly cleaned we disinfect the area and apply numbing cream to make the procedure as convenient as possible. After the numbness is achieved, the treatment itself - depending on the technique - takes approx. 20-30 minutes. Finally, a special soothing ointment is applied to the lips.
The result of the treatment is immediately visible, the injected material spreads by itself, the final shape of the lips develops approx. within two weeks.

Hyaluronic acid is an elastic substance naturally found in the body that can bind large amounts of water. As time goes on, its natural production decreases significantly, as a result of which the skin loses its youthfulness, begins to wrinkle and sag. The high-concentration hyaluronic acid fillers injected under the skin provides elastic support to the tissues, emphasizes the youthful and beneficial contours of the face and helps balance asymmetries.
Besides the amount of filler used, the effect of the achieved result is also determined by the body's individual reaction and basic characteristics. Based on our experience, depending on the individual, approx. It is recommended to repeat the treatment every 6-12 months, this way we can refresh the look of the lips and keep the desired result. In case of very thin lips or need extreme volume increase, it is recommended to create the desired shape and size in several sessions to achieve the maximum result.
- A few days before the treatment, it is recommended to stop using skin care products containing active ingredients (retinol, exfoliating masks, etc.), which can cause skin irritation at the area of the treatment.
- In order to prevent bruising at the puncture points, it is recommended to stop using blood thinners (e.g. aspirin) and vitamin C a week prior the procedure.
- Alcoholic beverages should be avoided.
- In case of a tendency to herpes, we recommend using a medicine containing anti-herpes ingredients a few days before the treatment.
The result of lip augmentation is impressive even after the treatment, the final shape is approx. develop within 2 weeks. Smaller bruising and in rare cases temporary asymmetry may develop at the injection site. Massaging the treated area is unnecessary, the injected hyaluronic acid spreads by itself within days, the swelling disappears and any noticeable lumps are also absorbed.
Until the final form is achieved, strong mechanical and thermal impacts must be avoided, eg: hot food or drinks, sunbathing, solarium, sauna, facial treatments, heavy exercise that cause sweating. It is also not recommended to use make-up for 24 hours after the treatment.
Injections with hyaluronic acid cannot be performed in case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, feverish illness, any allergy to the filler, active herpes infection affecting the lips or other skin diseases affecting the lips. In case of previous lip augmentation with silicone oil, we cannot perform the hyaluronic acid volume increase.
