With age, or as a result of natural childbirth, the connective tissue of the vaginal wall can weaken, resulting in the sense of a loosened and dilated vagina. Weakened connective tissue increases the risk of vaginal infections, incontinence and vaginal dryness, can lead to lower quality of sex life and reduced ability to have an orgasm.

Without a surgical procedure
The laser treatment is performed with the Candela CO2RE Intima laser device, which helps to restore the vaginal area to its original state without surgery or incision. The laser system, based on fractional CO2 technology, provides spectacular and rapid changes to the intimate areas. The treatment is not only effective in tightening the vagina, but can also help with other intimate problems.
Complete tissue regeneration
With fractionated lasers, the laser beams in the vagina stimulate the production of collagen fibers in the connective tissue, causing immediate tightening, regeneration and renewal. The treatment is completely safe.
Procedure
Prior to the laser treatment, a medical examination and consultation will be performed to evaluate the problem and to prepare a specific treatment plan.
At the very beginning of the treatment, the intimate areas are thoroughly prepared for laser therapy: the area is disinfected and numbed. The laser head is then inserted into the vagina, where the laser beam is passed from the inside out. The laser light heats the vaginal wall and causes micro-injuries in the connective tissue in small sections. The area between the micro-injuries remains undamaged, which enhances tissue regeneration and the healing process. The laser beam increases collagen production, regenerates the surface of the vaginal wall and strengthens the vaginal canal.
The procedure involves a minimal amount of discomfort due to the heat generated by the high energy of the laser: there may be a slight sensation of warmth in the intimate areas, but it is painless. After the treatment, we will provide details on the aftercare protocol.

As we age or after giving birth, the vagina loses its elasticity and can become dilated and loose, which can lead to easy entry for vaginal infections and bacteria, and can also make sexual intercourse more difficult and reduce the ability to have an orgasm. Laser treatment provides a painless and safe solution to these issues.
The number of treatments depends on the extent of the problem, the function of the ovaries and the age of the patient. In general, 2-3 treatments are recommended, but depending on the individual condition, this can be extended to 4+ sessions. In addition to the treatments, we recommend introducing Kegel exercises into your daily routine, as muscle tone can be sufficiently improved through intimate exercise.
The laser treatment can be repeated after 4-5 weeks. After the third session, there should be a break of at least six months to allow the tissue to regenerate. Maintenance treatments should be repeated every 1-2 years.
The effect can be felt after just 1 treatment, but more treatments are needed for the full result. At the end of the series of treatments, the vagina tightens, the vaginal wall becomes stronger and more flexible.
Swelling and burning sensation may occur in the treated area after the procedure, which will disappear within a short time. For 1 week after the laser treatment, avoid solarium, bathing in sitting position, sun exposure, swimming pools and sexual activity.
It is advisable to combine the treatment with the Kegel exercise as mentioned previously.
Treatment is not recommended in case of pregnancy, breast-feeding, menstruation, active infection, febrile illness or cancer, or when taking photosensitising medication.
